Jenny Fox Eades - Stregth Based Practice workshop

AAACT is delighted to present  Jenny Fox Eades, UK Education Advisor, to conduct a 1 day workshop in Canberra titled:

'Strength Based Approach to Teaching, Learning, Working and Living with people on the Autism Spectrum'

Throughout the workshop Jenny will present the theory of using Strength Based Practice (SBP), which is an exciting tool that builds on a person’s strengths rather than focusing on their deficits.  When a diagnosis of ASD is given negative behaviour presented can often be a significant focus in the home, school and work environment.  By applying this practice in all settings it can help improve behaviour, wellbeing confidence self esteem and reslience. 

This valuable ASD friendly workshop is designed for families, educators, professionals, employers and individuals on the spectrum to gain an understanding of how to use Strength Based Practice (SBP).
